Wesley Snipes Gets 3 Years

OCALA, Fla. - Wesley Snipes was sentenced to three years in prison on tax charges Thursday, a victory for prosecutors who sought to make an example of the action star by aggressively pursuing the maximum penalty.

I dont have a bit of remorse for his ass. All those damn movies (and some were actually good) and this ass thinks he doesnt have to pay taxes.

I never understood why any celebrity would even think about avoiding taxes. You are in the public spotlight you have to live by a higher moral, social, and civil standard than the rest of us peons. You cant take shit with a camera there to film the ass-wiping, so they all should know the government is gonna get theirs off the top. Just like the rest of us.

I dont get to decide IF i am gonna pay taxes. That comes out before the money hits my account. I realize that because celebs arent flipping burgers or working in a customer facing capacity that their finances get handled a little differently, but all of them have accounts. And having a few in my family, I know they know that US Tax Code.

Wesley just needs to put better people in his inner circle.

So, who's left? Michael Vick got sent upstate, Foxy Brown just got out, T.I goes after his community service, Remy Ma is looking at some serious time, and now Wesley Snipes....is it just me or this a bad time for Black celebs?

And dont forget about Chloe Brown!!!

And by the way, did any one else notice how this whole Snipes case just happens to occur at the end of the tax season? Maybe a subtle reminder to the rest of us to stay on top of that tax bill.

....But i could be wrong.
