Heroes is back!!!

Let me first say, that I knew this show would be an instant hit. I could tell by the trailers that this would be a great show. What started as a mini-series has evolved into an ongoing series with its own spin-off.

For those of you who havent seen it, its about ordinary people discovering they have supernatural abilities, some crack head painting pictures about the end of the world, an office rat bending time and space, and a guy running for office.

Here are some of the 'Heroes'

You have a guy that can fly (naturally) (Nathan Petrelli)

A guy that can hear peoples thoughts (Parkman)

A guy that can create fire (Cant remember his name...he was deranged)

A chick with a not-so-nice alter-ego (Niki)

A brother that can walk through walls (D.L. who escapes from prison with his special ability-wtf??)

A Japanese guy who can teleport (Hiro Nakamura - YATTA!!!!)

The bad guy who absorbs the power of those he kills (Sylar)

A good guy who absorbs the power of the people he is around. (Peter Petrelli-his brother)

And an indestructible cheerleader who has to be saved so that the rest of us can drive SUV's, watch TV and listen to Whodini records, and go about our boring lives (Claire Bennett)

SAVE THE CHEERLEADER, SAVE THE WORLD

If she is so indestructible why does she need help? Well, it would take too much time to explain all of that. Besides, if you really want to know, go pick up the DVD. There's no time for hand holding, this train is about to leave.

Season 1 ends with the Sylar getting sliced up by Hiro and Peter getting blown the f**k up (thanks for saving us first!!!)

Well Season 2 has started.

Hiro still has not perfected his time traveling skills and wound up in the damn Ming Dynasty. He runs into to his "Hero" Kensei, who turns out to be Doogie Howser with a drinking problem. I think Hiro is going to "become" his own Hiro later in the show, but we shall see.

Claire "Miss I dont need no stinkin' Bandaids" Bennett is living life underground as Claire Butlers. Her dad, who i just knew was the bad guy from season 1 is now working with Dave Chappelle at PopCopy (Not really but he is working as some low level peon). She still insists on proving that she can literally take an ass whippin. She jumps off some type of scaffold and snaps her f**king legs. Well i lost it. You big Dummy. Your daddy told you to keep a low profile. Luckily she self-healed before her future love interest (who can fly also-so bye bye Nathan) walks in to see her.

Parkman is now a detective with NYPD and taking care of the little chick from season 1 who didnt show up until the season was almost over. Sorry, dont remember her name. What i took from that is that she pretty much punks him around the house and does what she wants, like talking back, eating in her room (wtf), and drawing crazy-ass pictures of eyes and shit. I am sure there will be more to her little spoiled ass later on.

Nathan Petrelli has somehow given up aspirations of sleeping at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave and now works on his Betty Ford impersonation. He thinks that his brother is somehow coming back.

This dude BLEW UP (literally). I am surprise that Nathan even made it back.

We are introduced to a new character. Some spanish chick named Maya. She is trying to get to america with her brother. They hitch a ride with some less then reputable esseys. While we still dont know what her power is, apparantly it involves her sitting in the front seat of raggedy trucks, because once they forced her to the front, all hell breaks loose and everybody (except for her brother, who took a pretty good ass-whoopin) ends up dead with black tears running from their eyes. WTF!!!

The show then jumps to a couple guys from season one opening a container with...PETER PETRELLI chained up in it. Man, what the hell. This guy was flown to the stratosphere and a large explosion ensued. How the f**k is he in this trailer....you guys have some shplainin' to do

My Monday nights are finally getting back to normal. All I need now is for Jack Bauer to comeback.
