I LOVE THE PEOPLE OF IRAQ!!!!

6 simple words...right

Straight and to the point....

I too love the people of Iraq, but if saying that, or wearing a button that says that causes this....

I think I will save my love for something else!!!

Here are a couple blurbs from the article (as always my comments are in between):

Rev. Lennox Yearwood, Jr., president of the Hip Hop Caucus, was attacked by six capitol police today, when he was stopped from entering the Cannon Caucus Room on Capitol Hill, where General Petreaus gave testimony today to a joint hearing for the House Arms Services Committee and Foreign Relations Committee on the war in Iraq.

*********************************
Pretty cut and dry...right...but wait!!!
*********************************

After waiting in line throughout the morning for the hearing that was scheduled to start at 12:30pm, Rev. Yearwood was stopped from entering the room, while others behind him were allowed to enter. He told the officers blocking his ability to enter the room, that he was waiting in line with everyone else and had the right to enter as well. When they threatened him with arrest he responded with "I will not be arrested today."

**********************************
Apparently, the fuzz wasnt cc'ed on that email and had no clue Rev. Yearwood was not to be arrested
**********************************

According to witnesses, six capitol police, without warning, "football tackled him. He was carried off in a wheel chair by DC Fire and Emergency to George Washington Hospital.

**********************************
Didnt really look like a tackle
**********************************

Rev. Yearwood was examined for possible head and leg injuries then transferred to Central Processing. He has been charged with "assaulting a police officer."

***********************************
Its amazing you can be charged with assault, even if you get beat down. I think the beat down should negate that particular charge.
***********************************

Rev. Yearwood said as he was being released from the hospital to be taken to central booking, "The officers decided I was not going to get in Gen. Petreaus' hearing when they saw my button, which says 'I LOVE THE PEOPLE OF IRAQ.'"

***********************************

Who would have thought a button would be the pressure point for DC's finest????

Nucka Please!!!!

They knew who you were...they knew you were gonna cause a ruckus once you got in there.

BUT.....there is always 2 sides to every story, right?

Well another article states that Rev Yearwood was stopped because he was cutting in line. But the article says he was waiting with everybody else. what really happened????

If he was waiting in line then the cops were wrong for blocking his entrance and he had a right to be upset. But if he BROKE LINE?!?!?!?!?!

In the back ground, you hear the voice of Cindy Sheehan shouting "He's a minister!!!"

I try not to feed into conspiracy theories, but come on....

Rev Yearwood, Cindy Sheehan and the mysterious cameraman filming from the grassy knoll.

Doesnt this seem to be too much of a coincidence?

I could be wrong....
